John 1:9-12 says, “The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God...”

Because of the advent of Jesus, we can know LIGHT & LIFE in a way we never could have otherwise. When Jesus came, He brought LIGHT for us to see the reality of who He is, and LIFE so we could know the reality of our creator as a Father.

Light & Life is a 30-minute musical for the Christmas season, with optional narration, intended to help your church worship Jesus as the Light of the World and the Giver of Life. This collection of songs is based on the first chapter of the Gospel of John, and the stirring lyric of the beloved carol, “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing” by Charles Wesley. Created by Kirk Kirkland and arranged for choir, orchestra, and worship leaders by Camp Kirkland, Daniel Bondaczuk and Cliff Duren.
