So many things come into play when I am choosing Easter music for my church and choir, and I know it is the same for you. We have to consider when Easter falls, how much rehearsal time we have, what our different services look like, and who will be in town to participate. We have to be mindful of how we can give our people an authentic worship experience with songs they know and love to sing during Easter. At the same time, it’s important to keep it fresh and exciting with the majestic approach that Easter so deserves.
When we assembled this Easter collection, we did our best to consider all of these things and more. As I look down the list of songs, I get excited about sinking my teeth into this book. I am so hopeful that it will hit our people on every level. From the new songs to the arrangements of favorites, I pray that you will find a friend in this book, and that it will be one you can reach for, not just on Easter, but throughout the year. If we don’t find ourselves singing about the cross, death, and resurrection of Christ all year long, then it’s time for us to recalibrate.
Many blessings as you faithfully serve the Lord and His Church week after week,
